Enguita’s Chip Named Goal Of The Month

Ladies star Beth Enguita has made a little bit of Moors history after becoming the first female player to win the Club’s Goal of the Month award following her stunning strike against Redcar Town.

September’s shortlist of goals included three scored by our Ladies Team, who have made an incredible start to their new campaign having won six out of six in all competitions.

Enguita’s picture book goal proved a landslide winner when we opened the voting to fans, as she held off competition from Caitlin Bates, whose thunderbolt against Alnwick Town finished second.

The 20-year-old winger was a worthy winner after she jinked cleverly into space on the left of the Redcar box before delivering an exquisite chip across the keeper and into the far corner of the net.

Congratulations, Beth – our winner of Moors’ Goal of the Month for September!
