Moors begin their Durham Challenge Cup campaign on Tuesday night when they make the trip to face Consett at Belle View Stadium (7.30pm kick-off).

Last season, Moors made it all the way through to the Final of the competition where they were beaten on penalties by Hebburn Town at the Stadium of Light.

Interim Manager Lewis Dickman is keen to engineer another good run in 2023/24 and is expected to name a strong squad for the First Round tie against The Steelman on Tuesday.

Several Under-18s are expected to be included in Moors’ travelling party with Dickman keen to give youth a chance alongside some First Team players who need more minutes under their belts.

Fans planning to make the journey to cheer Moors on can pay on the turnstiles at Belle View Stadium but are advised that it will be CASH ONLY.
