Moors defender Josh Doherty has joined Hyde United on a one-month loan deal.

The 27-year-old arrived at The Brewery Field during the summer following a spell at South Shields and has gone on to make 10 appearances in all competitions.

However, he was found First Team football hard to come by in recent weeks and boss Lewis Dickman has now given the green light for him to make a temporary move away from the Club.

Doherty has linked-up with The Tigers in time to move into contention for a debut in their NPL Premier Division fixture against Ilkeston Town at Ewen Fields this evening.
