Club Statement: Lewis Dickman

The Club can confirm that Lewis Dickman will not be in charge of the team at King’s Lynn Town on Saturday afternoon after being admitted to hospital.

Dickman was taken unwell on Thursday afternoon and was subsequently taken to hospital where he was diagnosed with an inflammation of the appendix.

With symptoms failing to improve, the decision has now been taken for him to undergo surgery on Saturday morning.

“Everyone at the Club is sending best wishes to Lewis for a speedy recovery,” said Managing Director, Ian Geldard.

“It’s obviously a worrying time but we will offer all the support he and his family need during his period of convalescence.”

Assistant Manager Andy Inness will take temporary charge of First Team affairs going forward, including for the National League North fixture at King’s Lynn Town today.
