With the cold weather starting to bite, we’re once again opening our doors at The Brewery Field to be used as a Warm Hub by members of our local community free of charge.
Starting from Wednesday 6th December and continuing every Tuesday and Wednesday after that, Moors in the Community will be welcoming people to join us in the Neil Adams Sports Bar between 10.30am and 1.30pm.
We’ll provide you with complimentary tea and coffee, while you keep warm, socialise with others and use our full range of facilities free of charge for three hours every Tuesday and Wednesday.
“We opened up a Warm Hub at the stadium last season and it proved really popular,” explained Luke Cowie, the Club’s Community Development Manager.
“At this time of year particularly it’s important that we all rally round as a community to look after each other and that’s why we’re opening our doors again this winter.
“It’s an opportunity for local people to come to a place where they can meet their friends or potentially make new ones, while staying warm and enjoying a cuppa and our facilities.
“There is a pool table and a darts board, multiple TVs showing live sport, free Wi-Fi and we’re also looking to run a weekly bingo session to keep everyone entertained too.
“We’re hopeful that there is something for everyone and it can just provide a little helping hand to people during a period which can be difficult at times.”
There’s no need to book, you can simply turn up at The Neil Adams Sports Bar at The Brewery Field any time between 10.30am and 1.30pm every Tuesday and Wednesday, starting from Wednesday 6th December.
We’ll see you there!
