Tuesday evening’s National League North game against Alfreton Town has been postponed following a morning pitch inspection at The Brewery Field.
With temperatures plummeting over the last couple of days, Moors spoke to match referee James Bancroft and officials at Alfreton Town to express concerns about the fixture going ahead.
As a result, it was decided that local referee Andrew Miller would carry out a pitch inspection at 11am this morning and unfortunately the game has subsequently been postponed.
Fans are advised that tickets bought for this evening’s game will remain valid for the rearrangement.
We’ll have details on a new date for the fixture as soon as it is confirmed.
