Moors in the Community have benefited from a £1,000 donation from their partners at Guardian Alliance following a fundraising event held in November.
Guardian Alliance, who currently sponsor Moors in the Community’s Disability Football project, hosted their annual fundraising dinner at Walworth Castle on Friday 24th November.
The Club was delighted to support the event by buying a table to attend and guests were treated to a three-course meal and some superb live entertainment.
As part of the evening, Moors in the Community were thrilled to be selected by Guardian Alliance as one of several local charities earmarked for a donation from the proceeds.
“It was a fantastic night and we’re overwhelmed by the generous donation,” said the Club’s Community Development Manager, Luke Cowie.
“Guardian Alliance have been superb partners of Moors in the Community and their support of our provision of Disability Football has allowed us to make a huge impact on young people in the town and across the wider area.
“We are very thankful that they chose Moors in the Community as one of the beneficiaries from the fundraiser and we are looking forward to continuing to work closely with them for many years to come.”
