Moors have added extra firepower to their attack ahead of the weekend with the news that that Mikael Ndjoli has joined the Club on loan from Hartlepool United.
The 26-year-old front man has linked-up with Graeme Lee’s squad on a deal which will run until the end of the current National League North campaign.
Ndjoli was on the books at Tottenham Hotspur, Watford, Brentford and Millwall during his younger days before signing his first professional contract with Bournemouth in 2016.
A powerful and athletic striker with plenty of pace and a powerful shot, he gained senior experience during loan spells at Kilmarnock, Gillingham and Motherwell before making a deadline day switch to Barrow in January 2021.
Ndjoli then reemerged as a regular scorer for Aldershot Town the following season and spent a short time playing in America with Virginia Beach City before returning to the UK with Pools in 2022.
The London-born star spent two months on loan with National League North rivals Blyth Spartans earlier this season, scoring three goals in 13 appearances for the Croft Park outfit.
“It’s great to get the deal done and bring Mika to the Club,” admitted Moors boss Lee.
“He’s a strong and powerful player who can help lead the line which is something we have been looking to add to our squad.
“He knows the league already, and he’s coming in here hungry to prove himself and to score goals, so we’re looking forward to giving him the platform to do that.”
Ndjoli has been handed squad number 34 and will go straight into contention to make his Moors debut in Saturday’s game against Peterborough Sports at The Brewery Field.
