David Moyo looks set for a spell on the sidelines after sustaining an injury during the closing stages of last weekend’s game at Tamworth.
The forward collided with a home defender in injury time at the end of The Lamb Ground contest and a trip to hospital subsequently confirmed three fractured ribs and a lacerated liver.
Moyo, who joined Moors on loan from Chorley last week, was discharged from hospital on Wednesday and will now return to his parent club for treatment.
“Everyone connected with the Club is wishing David all the best,” said Moors boss Graeme Lee.
“His loan deal is due to run for another month, so we’ll have to wait and see how he responds to treatment, but it’s a blow for us because I thought he did quite well at times on Saturday.
“The important thing now is that he is in the right hands with the medical people at Chorley ensuring that he is looked after during his recovery, and we’ll keep in contact with them and him.”
