James Montgomery has completed a move to National League side Gateshead on a one-month loan deal.
The goalkeeper joined Moors in the summer and has made 28 appearances in all competitions during his debut campaign at The Brewery Field.
However, Graeme Lee has now brought in Brad James on a permanent deal and the former Middlesbrough keeper got the nod to play in Saturday’s 2-0 win over Blyth Spartans.
“James has got the opportunity to go and play at a higher level and all players want to do that,” explained Moors boss Lee.
“With Brad coming into the Club recently, it was good timing for us to be able to let James take up that chance with Gateshead.
“We’ll be keeping a close eye on his progress over the next month and wish him every success at The International Stadium.”
Montgomery, who has made 73 appearances during three previous spells with Gateshead, is now eligible to feature for them at Kidderminster Harriers on Tuesday evening.
