Spennymoor Town v Warrington Town
National League North
Tuesday 20th February 2024, 7.45pm
The Brewery Field

The Opposition
Warrington Town have played themselves right into play-off contention on the back of an excellent run of form which has seen them win four out of their last five games.

Mark Beesley’s men have tasted defeat just once in their previous nine National League North outings and know another win on Tuesday evening could propel them into the top seven.

The Yellows have retained the confidence and momentum built on the back of last season’s promotion from NPL Premier and they approach every game with positivity, home and away.

Saturday’s eye-catching 3-0 win at Curzon Ashton was their seventh on the road this term – a record only better by Curzon themselves and runaway leaders Tamworth.

Previous Meeting
Goals from Will Harris, Ben Pollock and Danny Greenfield saw Moors leading 3-1 when they made the trip to Cantilever Park in September only to be pegged back and denied all three points by a last-minute equaliser from Dylan Mottley-Henry.

Team News
Callum Ross will be assessed after the midfielder was forced to sit out Saturday’s win over Blyth Spartans with a hamstring problem sustained during the game at Chorley.

Glen Taylor is also still missing for Moors as he looks to recuperate after undergoing surgery to repair damage in his knee.

Match Officials
Callum Jones will be the man in charge for Tuesday evening’s fixture at The Brewery Field, and he will be assisted by Karl Barron and Martin Parker.

Tickets
Supporters of both teams can buy their tickets online in advance or opt to pay direct by either card or cash direct on the turnstiles ahead of kick-off on Tuesday night.
