Connor Shanks has now left the Club after his contract at The Brewery Field was cancelled by mutual consent.
The attacking midfielder joined Moors in January 2023 following his departure from Huddersfield Town and has gone on to make 30 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals.
However, Shanks has found regular First Team football hard to come by during the current campaign and spent two months out on loan at Bradford (Park Avenue).
Following discussions, it has now been agreed that his contact be cancelled by mutual consent, and he leaves The Brewery Field with our very best wishes.
“We’ve had some honest discussions with Connor over the last few weeks and it was felt that this was the best course of action for both parties,” explained Moors boss Graeme Lee.
“Unfortunately, we’re not able to offer him the game time that he craves and needs at this stage of his career, so we thank him for his service and wish him every success in the future.”
