We are delighted to confirm that Moors Ladies’ next two NERWFL Premier Division home games are to be played at The Brewery Field.
Billy Shackleton’s in-form side moved third in the table following their thumping 6-0 win over Harrogate Town on Sunday and are now well in the hunt for a second successive promotion.
Next up they’re set to host rivals South Shields this coming Sunday 17th March (2pm kick-off) and the exciting fixture will be played on The Brewery Field pitch.
As well as that, we can confirm that their final home fixture of the season against Wakefield on Sunday 7th April (2pm kick-off) will also be played at the Club’s main stadium.
“We’re so proud of what our Ladies Team have achieved in recent seasons, and we’re delighted to once again provide the opportunity for people to come and watch them at The Brewery Field,” said Moors’ Managing Director, Ian Geldard.
“For them to be up there challenging for another promotion in their first season in the Premier Division is remarkable and we want to see as many fans as possible coming to support them during the run-in.
“It’s always been a great turnout and a wonderful atmosphere when they have played their games at The Brewery Field in the past so we’re keen to have them play there whenever it’s possible.
“Now we’ve got two really exciting and potentially pivotal fixtures being played at the stadium and we’d love to see a huge turnout, cheering the girls on as they look to create more history.”
Admission prices for both games will be just £3 for adults and completely free for all those under the age of 12, so make sure you come along to The Brewery Field to support the lasses!
