Graeme Lee admitted his pride at the performance of the players after an incredible run of form and a last day win over King’s Lynn Town saw them fall just short of snatching a play-off place.

Moors won 12 of their last 16 games of the season to push themselves right into the equation ahead of the final round of games, but Boston’s win at Hereford ensured it was The Pilgrims who squeezed into the top seven.
