Isaac Fletcher Signs New Spennymoor Deal

Isaac Fletcher has become the latest player to commit his future to the Club after the talented young midfielder agreed a new deal to remain at The Brewery Field into 2024/25.

The 21-year-old originally joined Moors at the end of February and went on to make 11 appearances as Graeme Lee’s men enjoyed a brilliant finish to the campaign.

A graduate of Middlesbrough’s famed Academy, Fletcher produced some encouraging displays in a Moors shirt and chipped in with five assists as he enjoyed a fruitful end to last term.

Moors boss Lee was keen to tie the midfield ace down to a new deal and now those negotiations have concluded with Fletcher putting pen to paper on a fresh contract to stay with the Club.

“It’s brilliant news for us that Isaac has committed his future,” said Lee.

“I thought he got better and better as he settled in last year, and you saw his confidence growing with every game which led to him having a hand in a good number of goals during the final few weeks of the season.

“He’s an attack-minded player with good ability, a great attitude and a real determination to improve, so it’s a big signing for us and he’s someone I can’t wait to work with again in 2024/25.”

Fletcher, who turns 22 on Saturday, follows in the footsteps of teammates Michael Ledger, Corey McKeown, Rob Ramshaw, Callum Ross and Glen Taylor in agreeing a new deal with the Club.
