Spennymoor Town have moved to remind fans to represent the Club in a positive manner if they are making the trip to cheer the team on at Darlington.
Graeme Lee’s men make the short journey to Blackwell Meadows on Saturday for the first meeting with The Quakers of the new National League North season.
“We are all really looking forward to another exciting game,” commented Moors’ Managing Director, Ian Geldard.
“Our fans are always magnificent in their support away from home whether it’s a long or short journey and we know they will do us proud again this weekend.
“We know that feelings can run high and it’s not about dimming that passion, but we do want to remind everyone that we’re all there to enjoy the football.
“I appeal to you all to make sure you represent the Club in the right way and call out any anti-social behaviour to help us all enjoy what we hope will be a great game on Saturday.”
