Preview: Moors v Hereford

We turn the focus on the weekend action with a comprehensive preview of Hereford’s National League North visit to The Brewery Field.

Spennymoor Town v Hereford
National League North
Saturday 7th September 2024, 3pm
The Brewery Field

Match Sponsors: Durham Damp Proofing
Match Ball Sponsors: Highfield Furniture Removal & Assembly

The Opposition
Hereford fans will have been encouraged by their side’s start to the new campaign, despite the surprise home defeat to Needham Market in midweek.

The Bulls still sit fifth in the National League North table despite Tuesday’s setback and have already enjoyed eye-catching away wins at Brackley Town and Southport.

Having finished in the middle ground last term, there will be optimism that Paul Caddis can build on that by delivering a challenge for the play-offs during 2024/25.

Previous Meeting
Both games between the sides last season went with home advantage, with Hereford taking the three points at Edgar Street just before Christmas with a 2-1 triumph.

The last meeting at The Brewery Field came almost exactly a year ago when goals from Josh Popoola and Will Harris clinched a 2-0 win for Moors.

Match Officials
David Jones will be the man in the middle for Saturday’s game at The Brewery Field, and he will be assisted by Sam Bayley and Tyler Dutton. Matthew East is our Fourth Official.
