Front man Tom Allan has joined Moors on a one-month loan deal from Gateshead.
The talented 25-year-old previously spent time on loan at The Brewery Field during the 2022/23 campaign when he played 13 times and scored one goal.
Allan has made 12 appearances for The Heed Army in the National League this season, but new manager Carl Magnay has now agreed to allow him to link-up with Moors on loan.
Allan’s arrival at the Club will bolster Graeme Lee’s attacking options ahead of this evening’s National League North fixture against Scunthorpe United.
The Moors boss has been without Glen Taylor due to injury in recent weeks, while fellow forward Will Harris is out of contention currently through illness.
“We needed to bring in some extra quality and Tom fits that bill,” explained Lee.
“He is a player we have had on our shortlist for a while now, we know he did quite well when he was on loan here before and I am confident he can make a big impression this time too.
“Tom has loads of ability, plenty of pace and a keen eye for goal so I am delighted we’ve been able to do the deal to bring him back to The Brewery Field.”
Allan has been handed squad number 26 and is eligible to feature against The Iron tonight having received National League and FA clearance.
