Moors striker JJ Hooper has completed a permanent switch to Blyth Spartans for an undisclosed fee.
The 31-year-old had been on the books at Blyth at the end of last season but won a contract at The Brewery Field in August following a successful pre-season trial.
However, Hooper has not been able to force his way into Moors’ starting eleven and has made just four substitute appearances in National League North this term.
Boss Graeme Lee has now given the go-ahead for Hooper to move on and Spartans have now stumped up an undisclosed fee to take the front man back to Croft Park.
“At this stage of his career it’s important for JJ to be playing more regularly,” Lee explained.
“We haven’t been able to offer him that here this season but we wish him every success at Blyth and thank him for his efforts while at The Brewery Field.”
