Young Moors defender Callum Luck has joined Bishop Auckland on a one-month loan deal.
The 18-year-old joined Moors from Marske United in August before returning to The Seasiders on loan for the first three months of 2024/25.
Luck was recalled to The Brewery Field in November and went on to make his First Team debut as a late substitute in the win over Scunthorpe United.
Now Moors boss Graeme Lee has given the go ahead for the teenage left-back to head back out on loan in order to get more valuable senior experience under his belt.
“We’ve been keen to give Callum the chance to get back out on loan and play more games,” explained Lee.
“This move gives him the opportunity to test himself at a higher level than previously and will be perfect for the next stage of his development.
“We’ll also be able to keep a close eye on him during his time with Bishop Auckland so it’s a good move for all concerned.”
Luck’s move to Bishops is initially for a month and he will now be in contention – subject to FA approval – for their Northern Premier League fixture against Grimsby Borough on Saturday.
