Isaac Fletcher Completes Move To Barrow

Midfielder Isaac Fletcher has completed a permanent move to League Two side Barrow for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old has been one of Moors’ standout performers this season, firing an astonishing 13 goals from midfield in all competitions during the first half of 2024/25.

In all, he has made appearances for the Club since joining in February and as well as hitting the net 13 times he’s always assisted on nine occasions.

That eye-catching form earned the former Middlesbrough youngster plenty of admirers from clubs at a higher level and Barrow subsequently lodged a bid which was accepted by Moors.

Fletcher agreed terms with The Bluebirds over the move and travelled to undergo a medical on Thursday morning ahead of the completion of his switch to Holker Street.

“It’s great for Fletch that he’s got the chance to go and play in the Football League,” said Moors boss Graeme Lee.

“He’s been fantastic since coming into the Club – and he came here to try and earn himself this opportunity so it’s brilliant that he’s managed to do that.

“Any young lad who is coming out of the game and think that’s it for them should only have to look at what Fletch has done.

“He came into our level which is a strong division but he’s got into our team and then really kicked on so he’s got his rewards from that and we wish him well.”

Barrow are currently 15th in League Two and Fletcher could be in contention to make his debut for them in their home fixture with Harrogate Town on Saturday.
