Moors have clinched a deal to extend the loan of Olly Dyson from York City until the end of the season.
Dyson has been one of the standout performers in Graeme Lee’s side since joining the Club from The Minstermen at the start of the campaign.
The 25-year-old is the only player in the squad to have started in all 29 league and cup games so far in 2024/25, starring at both right-back and in midfield when required.
His initial loan expired following the 1-1 draw at Scarborough Athletic on New Year’s Day but the two clubs have now struck a deal which sees Dyson remain at The Brewery Field for the rest of the season.
“We’re absolutely delighted to have Olly with us until the end of the season,” said Moors boss Lee.
“He’s been superb for us throughout his time here in whatever position we’ve used him and he’s also a really positive influence on the squad, on and off the pitch.
“I am really thankful to York City for letting us keep him on loan here and I am looking forward to him playing a big part as we aim to drive up the table in 2025.”
Dyson will now be free to take his place in the Moors squad for this weekend’s big FA Trophy tie against Hampton & Richmond Borough at The Beveree Stadium.
