Hampton & Richmond Borough v Spennymoor Town
Isuzu FA Trophy Fourth Round
Saturday 4th January 2025, 3pm
The Beveree Stadium

The Opposition
Hampton & Richmond Borough sit in 12th position in National League South as they prepare to welcome Moors to The Beveree Stadium this weekend.

Alan Julian’s side have been on the up in recent weeks though and come into Saturday’s tie on the back of a run of just one defeat in their last 12 games in all competitions.

The Beavers have drawn on four of their previous six outings though and were frustrated on New Year’s Day when their home game against Dorking Wanderers was called off due to a waterlogged pitch less than an hour before kick-off.

A 2-0 victory at Yate Town and then a comprehensive 3-0 triumph over Hashtag United have seen Hampton & Richmond progress to Round Four of the FA Trophy and set up the meeting with Moors.

Previous Meeting
This will be the first time the two clubs have met each other in competitive action.

Match Officials
Robert Massey-Ellis is the man in the charge for Saturday’s FA Trophy encounter, and he will be assisted by Ciaran Fidler and Alex Bradley. Harry Wager will be Fourth Official.

Competition Rules
Both sides are permitted to name seven substitutes for Saturday’s FA Trophy tie, of which five can be used at any time throughout the 90 minutes. This has increased from five now the competition has reached Round Three.

If the game is all-square at 90 minutes, then it will go straight to a penalty shootout without the need for extra time or a replay.

Tickets
Saturday’s cup tie is not segregated, and Moors fans are encouraged to buy in advance online as there is a saving to be made for Adults in comparison to paying on matchday.
