Moors Ladies’ recent run of form came to an end at Bradford City last Sunday as a depleted line-up was beaten 3-0 at Horsfall Stadium.
Brent Smithson’s side went into the game on the back of three wins from their last five but, with injuries beginning to bite, it always looked a stiff challenge against The Bantams.
City were 2-0 in front by the break and added a third goal during the second half to as they moved third in the table and kept up their hopes of winning promotion.
The result left Moors still in fifth place in the NERWFL Premier Division ahead of a home fixture against Harrogate Town scheduled to be played at The Brewery Field on Sunday.
