We turn our focus on to Tuesday evening’s action with a comprehensive preview of Darlington’s National League North visit to The Brewery Field.

Spennymoor Town v Darlington
National League North
Tuesday 4th March 2025, 7.45pm
The Brewery Field
The Opposition
Darlington have suffered a setback in their bid to bridge the gap to the National League North play-off zone after defeats in each of their last two games.
Steve Watson’s men were edged out 1-0 at Scunthorpe United last Tuesday before wasting a two-goal lead in their 4-2 loss at home to in-form Brackley Town at the weekend.
The Quakers had been in excellent form prior to that though and had tasted defeat just twice in the league since early November to drive themselves into contention.
Now they must try and rediscover their best during the closing couple of months if they are to have a say inside the top seven this term.
Previous Meeting
Darlington took the honours when the sides met at Blackwell Meadows earlier in the season when Jack Maskell’s goal proved the difference for The Quakers.
Match Officials
Lewis Dawson will take charge of Tuesday evening’s encounter at The Brewery Field, and he will be assisted by Thomas James and James Garsrud. Glen Hart is our Fourth Official.
