We turn the spotlight on to Saturday’s action with a comprehensive preview of our National League North meeting with Oxford City at The Brewery Field.

Spennymoor Town v Oxford City
National League North
Saturday 26th April 2025, 3pm
The Brewery Field
The Opposition
Oxford City arrive at The Brewery Field on Saturday hoping to underline an encouraging end to the season which has seen them beaten just twice in their last 10 outings.
The Hoops initially struggled to adapt to their new surroundings following relegation from the National League last term and parted ways with boss Sam Cox in September.
However, the return of promotion hero Ross Jenkins to the dugout has proved a wise move and City have certainly proved sterner opposition in the second half of the season.
Previous Meeting
Moors suffered a disappointing result when the sides locked horns for the first time at The MGroup Stadium earlier in the campaign.
Graeme Lee’s men were defeated 3-0 by The Hoops just before Christmas thanks to goals from Josh Parker, Alfie Potter and Reece Fleet.
Match Officials
Callum Jones will take charge of Saturday’s game at The Brewery Field, and he will be assisted by Kieran Downey and Elliot Cowens. Glen Hart is our Fourth Official.
