Moors Fan Makes Donation For Wembley Travel

Lifelong Moors fan Gary Finley of SCH Site Services has played his part in making sure supporters can see Moors reach new heights at Wembley this weekend.

Graeme Lee’s side will take on Aldershot Town in the FA Trophy Final this Sunday, with the Club already committing to subsiding coach travel for Moors fans as part of their ‘Back The Fans, Fill The Stands’ campaign.

Now loyal Moors follower, Gary who runs SCH Site Services – a company which began life as Spennymoor Crane Hire – has followed his heart to pay for the cost of over 65 fans to get to Wembley and back.

“It’s fantastic to see the Club subsidising coach travel for the fans – but we all know just how tight the purse strings are at clubs at this end of the football pyramid.

“For me, as a passionate Moors fan and being in the fortunate position of leading a local company, I just want to help the Club get the best backing they can by contributing financially.

“It would be fantastic to see as many Moors’ fans as possible to see their heroes play, and hopefully win, at Wembley.

“Our family has been loyal supporters of our hometown club for decades and my son is the Club’s Under-18s supporters’ representative, so we just want all fans of all ages to see the lads play on the hallowed turf and bring the trophy home.

“For me, this is an absolute no brainer, and we are delighted to get involved and give something back to the Town where is all started for us and to repay the support we received back then.”
