Favourites: Olly Dyson

Loan star Olly Dyson is into the spotlight for our Favourites feature as he lets us know which way he leans on this series of teasing questions…

Favourite crisps?
I do like crisps. I think my favourites are probably the Thai Sweet Chilli Sensations, they go perfectly after a nice Chinese takeaway!

Favourite drink?
It’s a tough one, that. I really like the strawberry and banana flavour Innocent smoothies. That’s my drink to cure a hangover too, it refreshes me!

Favourite sandwich?
I would go for more of a toastie, if that’s allowed? I have a panini maker at home so a chicken tikka panini on some tiger bread and then whack it on the panini maker. That’s banging.

Favourite pizza?
I don’t particularly like cheese, to be honest. Cheeseless pizza would be my favourite, but I made it once and it all just fell apart and was no good!

Favourite footballer?
When I was a kid my favourite football was always Jack Wilshere. He was frighteningly good, and I remember a game he played for England against Brazil where he just took the micky out of their whole team!

Favourite match?
Can I pick a couple? The Play-Off Final I played in for York was brilliant – a sell-out crowd against Boston which we won to get promotion. Then when I was at Barrow, we went away to Notts County and beat them 3-0 to go top of the league. That was unbelievable.

Favourite song?
Chris Brown’s Deuces. That’s one from my younger years because all the lads would play that when I was at Huddersfield Town.

Favourite band?
I like Oasis, but I couldn’t get any tickets – so I am not a fan anymore!! Haha!

Favourite stadium?
Well, I am a Leeds United fan so I would love to play at Elland Road one day. I will keep on dreaming that I can achieve that some day!

Favourite film?
I do love a good film. I started watching a lot of Will Ferrell films and Get Hard, which he did alongside Kevin Hart, is brilliant. He is pretending to be a hard man in prison to survive!

Favourite TV series?
I have just watched the latest series of Brassic so I am now totally up to date. The finish is horrendous though and it is clearly teeing up another series! It’s so funny though, Tomma is the funniest. I also like Peaky Blinders.

Favourite teammate?
Ooh! Haha! I like Matty Dolan. He’s been there and done it, knows what he’s doing and he’s a good lad as well. I am trying to learn things off him all the time.
