National League outfit York City have been confirmed as opponents for a pre-season friendly at The Brewery Field on Saturday 2nd August (3pm kick-off).
The Minstermen finished second in the National League last term before suffering play-off semi-final heartache at the hands of Oldham Athletic who went on to be promoted.
Graeme Lee’s men will play host to City on the final weekend before the new campaign in what looks the ideal warm-up match for the big kick-off.
Moors also faced York in pre-season last year when the sides played out a hugely entertaining 3-3 draw in which Glen Taylor fired a hat-trick.
The latest friendly adds to an already strong schedule ahead of the 2025/26 season with other games set to be confirmed in due course.
