Yazmin Robinson Signs For Moors Ladies

Moors Ladies have moved to complete their third signing of the summer with confirmation that young winger Yazmin Robinson has joined the Club.

New boss Stephen Durrant has been working hard behind the scenes to enhance his squad ahead of the 2025/26 campaign with Meg Elliott and Sophie Hodgson already through the door.

Now talented teenager Robinson, who previously played for Bishop Auckland, has followed them to link-up with Moors as they prepare for their third season in the NERWFL Premier Division.

“Yazmin has impressed both the players and me in the last couple of weeks in pre-season training,” explained Durrant.

“She’s got great pace and excellent ball control, and she will also be a good competitor at this level.

“At 18, she has vast potential to improve further and grow as a player at Spennymoor to become an important part of this season and the future plans we have at the Club.”

Moors’ preparations for the new season are continuing to gather pace and they are set to play their first friendly on Thursday 17th July at Whitworth Park Academy (7.45pm) to which fans will be granted free admission.
