Moors will return to pre-season action on Saturday when they host a Stockport County XI in Glen Taylor’s testimonial match at The Brewery Field (3pm kick-off).

Graeme Lee’s men have made an encouraging start to their warm-up campaign, registering 3-1 wins over Crook Town and Bishop Auckland in their first two games.

Now they are set to welcome a youthful Stockport side to County Durham this weekend as preparations for 2025/26 go up another gear ahead of the big kick-off.

Moors boss Lee has fielded several trialists in the previous two friendlies and is expected to do similar for Saturday’s clash with The Hatters.

The game is not segregated, and fans of both sides can choose to buy tickets in advance online or pay by cash or card on the turnstiles prior to kick-off.

Gates will open at 12.30pm and both home and away supporters will be welcome to join us in the Neil Adams Sports Bar which opens then too.
