Preview: Radcliffe v Moors

We turn the attentions to the weekend as Moors make their first away trip of the season to take on Radcliffe at Neuven Stadium.

Radcliffe v Spennymoor Town
National League North
Saturday 16th August 2025, 3pm
Neuven Stadium

The Opposition
Radcliffe have familiar faces in their dugout with former Moors management team Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley in charge at Neuven Stadium.

The duo guided the club to promotion to National League North in 2023/24 and then helped establish them at the higher level with a 20th place finish last term.

They suffered defeat on the opening day when they were beaten 2-1 at Buxton and ended the game with ten men after Lois Maynard’s late red card.

Previous Meeting
Moors did the double over Radcliffe last season with Glen Taylor firing a hat-trick in the 3-2 success at The Brewery Field in late March.

Isaac Fletcher led the way with a double when Graeme Lee’s men triumphed 4-2 at Neuven Stadium in September during which Olly Dyson and Zanda Siziba both netted.

Referee
Jonathan Chadwick will take charge of Saturday’s encounter at Neuven Stadium, and he will be assisted by Joshua Cliffe and James Owen. Jack Tooth will be the Fourth Official.
