We turn the focus on Saturday’s action with a comprehensive preview of our National League North trip to Eyrie Stadium (3pm kick-off).
Bedford Town v Spennymoor Town
National League North
Saturday 20th September 2025, 3pm
Eyrie Stadium
The Opposition
Bedford Town secured their place in National League North for 2025/26 when they clinched the Southern League Premier Central title with a final day win over Stourbridge.
The 2-0 triumph kicked off a second successive promotion celebration for The Eagles, even though boss Lee Bircham admitted their pre-season target had been simply to stay in the division.
Town have had a tricky start to life at the new level and have won just once in their eight outings so far – a 3-1 success against AFC Telford United in August.
However, they have picked up useful points against Curzon Ashton and Hereford in their last two games and will hope to use that as a platform to build on.
