Moors Ladies will look to build on their brilliant win last weekend when they make the trip to face Bradford City in the NERWFL Premier Division on Sunday (2pm kick-off).
Having thrashed Alnwick Town 4-1 at The Brewery Field last time out, Nikita Hemmingway’s side will make the trip to West Yorkshire in good spirits.
However, they will come up against a Bantams side who have also enjoyed an encouraging start to the new campaign having won three out of three so far.
“It’s another big challenge for us but it’s one we’re ready for,” said Hemmingway.
“The girls have trained hard on the back of that superb win over Alnwick, and we want to take all the things we did well last Sunday into this weekend now.
“We’re in a decent position in the table albeit very early in the season but we want to try and keep pace with those at the top, so games like Sunday are important.
“If we can hit the sort of standards that we did against Alnwick then we’ll give ourselves a great chance of getting another positive result, so that’s what we’ll be aiming to do.”
The game takes place at the Horsfall Stadium, which is home to Bradford (Park Avenue) and fans are welcome to travel and attend the game to cheer the lasses on.
