Moors fell to frustrating defeat at The Brewery Field as they were knocked out of the FA Trophy at the hands of AFC Fylde.
The Coasters opened the scoring through George Wilson, before goals from Junior Mondal and Ethan Robson in the space of three minutes gave Moors the lead at the break.
However, Jon Ustabasi brought the visitors level just before the hour and then went on to double his tally with the winner less than 20 minutes from time.
The game opened with some half chances for both sides, as Cam Salkeld’s cross couldn’t find a Moors man in the middle, before Kieran Coates’ header went wide at the other end.
Luca Thomas produced the first real chance for Fylde, when he took aim from the edge of the area. His strike flew well over the bar.
Moors had a good chance of their own on the 18th minute. Brilliant work from Tyler Hill saw him dispossess a Fylde man and slip Mondal in behind. He drove into the area and let fly, but saw his effort palmed wide by Pat Boyes.
A flurry of chances went Moors’ way just a minute later, but somehow came to nothing, with Salkeld’s header being claimed by Boyes.
Graeme Lee’s men were starting to really get on top of the visitors, but neither Ethan Robson’s strike, nor Corey McKeown’s could get Moors ahead.
Fylde then went on to break the deadlock on the 36th minute. After some good football, Wilson got into the area and wrong-footed Bobby Jones to put his side in front with nine minutes of the first half remaining.
Moors wasted no time in levelling the scores though, as Junior Mondal equalised just four minutes later. McKeown got in behind the defence down the right, before intelligently squaring the ball to Mondal who curled home into the bottom corner.
In unbelievable fashion, Moors turned the game on its head when ball fell to Robson just outside the area. The loanee struck an effort, which took a wicked deflection and found the bottom left corner to give his side the lead.
Despite being behind at the break, Fylde looked full of energy at the start of the second half. Charlie Jolley went close four minutes in, forcing a brilliant sliding block from Dan Jones.
Pugh almost put Moors into a 3-1 advantage on the 57th minute when he took aim from inside the area but saw his strike fly into the side netting.
However, Ustabasi dragged the visitors level just two minutes later as he skipped inside from the right and unleashed a curled effort into the back of the net.
Moors looked to hit back swiftly and almost found a leveller via a smashed free-kick from distance from Mondal. The number 11 hit an effort goalward, only to see it tipped wide of the post by Boyes.
Craig Mahon’s mean got themselves back in front with 18 minutes remaining. A corner fell to Ustabasi, who spun inside the area and lashed an effort into the top right corner to get his second of the game.
There was a chance to draw level on the 82nd minute, as Dan Rowe flicked a header into the path of Olly Dyson, who let fly after taking a touch at the back post. His strike soared int the side netting.
Fylde had a golden opportunity to kill the game off in the dying embers as Luca Thomas broke forward with Alex Healy-Byrne in support but chose to go alone and saw his effort well saved by Jones.
