We turn the spotlight on Saturday’s National League North action as Moors play host to Buxton at The Brewery Field.
Spennymoor Town v Buxton
National League North
Saturday 13th December 2025, 3pm
The Brewery Field

The Opposition
Buxton arrive in County Durham this weekend looking to get back to their best form ahead of the busy Christmas schedule.
The Bucks have lost seven of their last eight games in all competitions, a sequence of results which has seen them slip down to 15th in the National League North table.
An eye-catching victory at leaders AFC Fylde last month gave an indication of what they’re capable of on their day and boss John McGrath will be keen to see more of that.
The weekend will also see them return to league action for the first time in a fortnight after they were in FA Cup First Round action at Cheltenham Town last Saturday.
Previous Meetings
Buxton had the edge over Moors in National League North last term having taken four points from the two meetings.
An injury-time winner for The Bucks in the game at Silverlands in March was harsh on Graeme Lee’s men, which followed up a 1-1 draw at The Brewery Field last November.
Referee
Ben Robinson will be the man in the middle for Saturday’s encounter at The Brewery Field, and he will be assisted by Stephen Birkett and Sam Bayley. Samuel Ross is our Fourth Official.
Tickets
The game is not segregated, and both home and away supporters are able to buy their tickets online in advance or by cash and card on the turnstiles from 12.30pm.
