Could you or someone you know benefit from our Community Meals Programme, which delivers hot food and desserts to local residents three times a week?

The Community Meals scheme is one of the flagship projects of Moors in the Community, and we’re proud of the positive impact it has had across our local area.

At its height, we were delivering up to 30 meals daily and the project was quickly expanded from two days to three to cope with the obvious demand.

Thanks to the ongoing support of our valued partners, UK Energy Management as a Principal Partner and programme sponsors Kingdom Culture, we now have capacity to enrol more residents in this cost-effective scheme.

Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we’ll deliver a hot, nourishing meal and a delicious dessert direct to the doors of those who need it most in the town and surrounding area.

In 2026, we’re hoping even more people can take advantage of the great value Community Meals service, to help improve the nutrients intake of elderly residents and relieve some of the stress for busy family members.
