We turn the spotlight on Saturday’s National League North action as Moors play host to Radcliffe at The Brewery Field.

Spennymoor Town v Radcliffe
National League North
Saturday 17th January 2026, 3pm
The Brewery Field

The Opposition
After winning the NPL title in 2023/24, Radcliffe battled hard to stay in National League North last term and this year they’re emerging as one of the dark horses for promotion.

Former Moors bosses Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley have got them playing some good football and they arrive at The Brewery Field this weekend sitting fifth in the table.

The Boro started the campaign in fine fashion and have recovered from wobble in form during November to get back towards their best in recent weeks.

Consecutive wins over Scarborough Athletic, Leamington and Curzon Ashton in December had them back in contention and they were disappointed to lose narrowly at Macclesfield last time out.

Previous Meetings
Saturday’s game will be the fifth competitive meeting between the two clubs and Moors have come out on top on each of the previous four encounters.

Graeme Lee’s men ran out 2-0 winners when the sides met at The Neuven Stadium back in August thanks to two goals from Glen Taylor.

Referee
David Jones will be the man in the middle for Saturday’s game at The Brewery Field, and he will be assisted by Waqar Ahmad and Steven Taylor. Bradley Maw is our Fourth Official.

Tickets
The game is not segregated, and both home and away supporters are able to buy their tickets online in advance or by cash and card on the turnstiles from 12.30pm.
