We’re delighted to confirm that our hugely popular Friday Night Football sessions are back for 2026 and we’re welcoming bookings right now to join the fun!

At just £3 per session, our Friday Night Football is a brilliant way for local youngsters to enjoy a fun and physical start to each and every weekend at Whitworth Park Academy.

These sessions are a great opportunity for players to receive coaching, particularly those at the lower levels of the pathway, with drills focused on technical development. All players, regardless of level, will be challenged and supported.

For parents concerned about having a game the following day, please be assured that age-appropriate training will only enhance development, not hinder it. Long-term player improvement comes from regular, quality training, not just matches. Having a ball at their feet most days is highly important for players who want to improve.

Friday Night Football is hosted on the 4G pitch at Whitworth at 5.30pm every week and is open to girls and boys aged between 7 and 14.
