A duo of second half goals saw AFC Telford United secure all three points as Moors fell to defeat at The Brewery Field.
Remi Walker opened the scoring in the 56th minute with a calm finish past a scampering Brad James, before Charlie Williams finished the job and fired home from a tight angle in stoppage time.
Moors almost found themselves ahead within the first 60 seconds when Corey McKeown drove forwards and hit a low effort goalwards. However, his strike went straight at Josh Gracey.
The visitors went close with 20 minutes on the clock, as a good ball from the left-hand side found the head of Dylan Allen-Hadley, who glanced an effort just over the bar at the near post.
Jordan Cranston looked to propel his side into the lead just a few minutes later when his inswinging ball flashed across the face of goal, but no Bucks man could prod home.
Good play from Cam Salkeld saw him wriggle into space on the edge of the penalty area, where he smashed a low driven effort towards Gracey’s goal, only to see the shot fall just wide of the left post.
Corey McKeown was let through on goal on the half hour mark courtesy of a fantastic ball from Mackenzie Heaney but was forced to settle for a corner after good defending from the retreating Cranston.
Both sides had chances to take the lead as the first half wound down. Salkeld was played into space by McKeown and drove goalwards only to fire wide from the edge of the area, before Allen-Hadley curled an effort high and wide of the mark.
The Bucks almost found themselves in front with just three minutes of the half remaining when Ammar Dyer’s deep cross rebounded off the crossbar, before Moors managed to get it clear.
Kevin Wilkin’s side snagged the opening chance of the first half when Allen-Hadley found space to strike in the penalty area and somehow missed the target from close range.
It didn’t take too much longer for Telford to break the deadlock, as a fortuitous clearance from Jordan Piggott somehow set Remi Walker away on the counter. The number 24 bore down on goal with only Brad James to beat, who slipped while adjusting his footing, allowing Walker the space to find the net and put the visitors ahead.
Moors looked to have been set clean through for a moment on the hour mark, as Sonny Sharples’ pressure paid off on the half way line, winning the ball and finding McKeown, but the flag was up to deny the winger of a chance to equalise.
Telford got the ball in the back of the net for a second time on the 66th minute, as Walker found the net with a close-range effort following a rebound off the post, only for the linesman’s flag to be raised offside.
Matty Stenson had a chance to double the lead with 9 minutes remaining, but was foiled by James, who claimed the effort.
The visitors wrapped up the three points deep into added time when substitute, Williams, rounded Brad James inside the area and fired a low effort into the back of the net from a tight angle to hand his side a commanding victory away from home.
