Saturday’s National League North game at Peterborough Sports will go ahead as planned following an early morning pitch inspection.

Prolonged rain across the country had cast some doubt on the fixture so the hosts arranged for a local referee to carry out an inspection of the playing surface.

He declared himself happy after taking a look just after 8am on Saturday morning it’s now been confirmed that the game will go ahead as scheduled.
