Moors have strengthened their squad with the signing of young defender Louis Stephenson on loan from Hartlepool United.
The 20-year-old right-back has become Tommy Miller and Matty Dolan’s second signing since taking over, joining the Club on a deal until the end of the season.
Stephenson is a product of Pools’ Academy and his progress through the ranks at Victoria Park was rewarded with his first professional contract in December 2023.
The youngster celebrated penning that deal by scoring his first senior goal in the FA Trophy later that month before also making his league debut for Pools.
An athletic performer also comfortable as a wing-back, Stephenson gained further First Team experience during a successful loan spell at Buxton earlier in the campaign.
“Louis is an aggressive, front foot defender,” explained interim boss Dolan.
“He played a good number of games for Hartlepool last season, and he’s also done well with Buxton so comes with a good pedigree and a knowledge of the level.
“We’ve been keen to try and improve the squad for the run-in because we know we’ve got a heavy schedule and bringing Louis in will definitely strengthen us.”
Stephenson has been handed squad number 15 and is eligible to make his Moors debut in tonight’s National League North fixture against Curzon Ashton at The Brewery Field.
