Moors Bucking Trend For Higher Price Seats

Moors fans snapping up a Season Ticket for next term can enjoy the flexibility of sitting or standing at matches during the 2026/27 campaign – all for exactly the same price.

Unlike many clubs across the football pyramid who charge supporters an additional premium to secure a seated ticket, we remain committed to providing affordable football for everyone at The Brewery Field.

With more than 750 seats available around the stadium on a first come, first served basis, supporters can choose the matchday experience which suits them best without worrying about paying extra.

Whether fans prefer to stand and soak up the atmosphere from behind the goal or enjoy the comfort of a seat in the stands, every fan attending games with us will have access to both options throughout the season.

This long-standing initiative reflects the Club’s continued focus on ensuring football remains accessible and affordable for supporters, particularly during a time when the cost of attending live sport continues to rise elsewhere.

Fans are encouraged to secure their Season Tickets before the end of the Early Bird window on 31st May and get behind Tommy Miller’s men for another exciting season at The Brewery Field.

“We know that many clubs ask supporters to pay significantly more if they want to sit down during matches, but we’ve made a conscious decision not to do that at Spennymoor Town in recent years,” explained Managing Director, Ian Geldard.

“We are proud to be a community-focused football club, and we believe supporters should be able to enjoy matches in the way that suits them best without facing additional costs.

“Fans have plenty of choice and flexibility on a matchday at Moors, while still benefiting from excellent value for money through our Season Tickets – particularly during the brilliant Early Bird period running until the end of May.

“Our aim is to keep football affordable for as many people as possible, and we hope supporters will continue to get behind the team in big numbers throughout the new season.”
