Brad James has committed his future to the Club after becoming the latest player to agree terms on a new contract to stay at The Brewery Field into 2026/27.
The highly rated goalkeeper initially joined Moors in February 2024 and has gone to firmly establish himself as the Club’s Number 1 and has played an important role during successes in league and cup.
James, who has now made over 100 appearances for Moors, was once again among the standout performers last term, scooping the Supporters’ Club Player of the Year award after some fine individual displays.
New Moors boss Tommy Miller made it one of his summer priorities to tie the former Middlesbrough shot stopper to a new deal and now terms have been agreed.
“We’re delighted to be keeping Brad at the Club,” admitted Miller.
“There’s little doubt in my mind that he’s one of the best goalkeepers in the division, so to have him with us again for 2026/27 is a huge boost.
“He’s an important member of our squad and I’ve been impressed by his ability and his attitude since coming into the Club, so I was keen to get the deal sorted.
“Goalkeeper is such a key position for any team and to have one of Brad’s quality signed-up for the new season is good business for us.”
