Moors boss Tommy Miller has moved to increase his firepower for next season after agreeing terms to bring striker Aiden Marsh to The Brewery Field.
The 23-year-old front man has signed a permanent deal with the Club, which will begin in July following the expiration of his contract with Harrogate Town.
A graduate of Barnsley’s Academy, Marsh was with The Tykes from the age of 10 and came all through the ranks to sign professional terms in September 2020.
The hard-working centre-forward scored on his senior debut for Barnsley in the Championship and went on to play almost 50 times before his departure from Oakwell in 2025.
Marsh has also gained senior experience during loan spells at Scunthorpe United, York City and Raith Rovers before a short stint at Truro City last season was followed by a move to Harrogate in January.
“I am delighted Aiden has joined us because I feel like he is going to be an exciting addition,” explained Miller.
“He’s very sharp, he likes to play on the shoulder of defenders and he’s a very clever centre-forward who has scored goals in the past and now we want to bring that back out of him.
“This is a move that can kickstart his career. He’s at a good age and he’s hungry to better himself and kick on again, so we’re hoping Spennymoor Town can give him the perfect platform to showcase his quality.”
Marsh’s is the third new recruit to arrive this summer and his move to The Brewery Field is subject to the usual clearance from the Football Association and National League.
