Campbell Darcy Signs For Spennymoor Town

Tommy Miller has bolstered his defensive options ahead of the new season with the loan signing of young defender Campbell Darcy from Hartlepool United.

Moors have secured the services of the defender on a loan deal that will see him stay at The Brewery Field until January 4th 2027

The 20 year old signed his first professional contract with Pools back in 2023, after impressing within their academy set up.

Darcy went on to make his professional debut in January of the same year at just 16 years old, coming on as a late substitute in Hartlepool’s FA Cup Third Round tie against Stoke City.

The defender was sent out to Hebburn Town on a loan deal in September of 2025 and made an instant impact, as he found the net on his debut in black and yellow.

After the expiration of his loan, Darcy returned to Hartlepool, where he scored his first senior goal for the club in an Isuzu FA Trophy clash with Anstey Nomads at Victoria Park.

Darcy later returned to the Hornets, and helped them on their way to a historic promotion winning campaign to the National League North, as they secured their spot as Northern Premier League Premier Division Champions.

“We’re really pleased to bring Cam into the club,” said Tommy Miller. “He will be an ideal replacement for Louis.”

“He’s got real athleticism about him and will give us a good option down the right hand side.”

“He’s a player I know quite well from coming through at Hartlepool and had a very good season at Hebburn last year.”

Darcy will wear the number 14 and is eligible for tonight’s fixture against Newcastle United U21s.
