Moors Ladies have added to their midfield options with the signing of Veronica Snaith.
Snaith joins Nikita Hemmingway’s side for the 2026/27 NERWFL Premier Division campaign, becoming the Club’s fourth signing of the summer.
We spoke with Veronica upon her arrival at The Brewery Field to find out more about her footballing background and what attracted her join the Moors…
‘I have previously played for Doral Soccer Club in Florida before moving to England, where I played for Hartlepool United Women and Middlesbrough U23s.’
‘I’m a positive player on the ball, hardworking and will always give 100% on the pitch. I like creating chances and being a versatile player who can have an impact both going forward and defensively.’
‘I chose Spennymoor because it felt like the right club for me to continue developing and challenge myself, while also being part of an enjoyable environment.’
Moors Ladies’ First Team coach Dan Burell said…
‘We’re delighted to welcome Veronica to the club. Her work ethic & energy instantly stood out throughout pre-season training & matches. She instantly drove the intensity in training through her ability to compete & be physical in 1v1’s, whilst non-stop running to support both attack & defence.’
‘She’s a versatile player who offers quality in numerous positions. We wanted to add players to the group with a high level of technical ability this summer – which V fits the bill perfectly for.’
‘Everyone’s really enjoyed having Veronica around the group both on & off the pitch and we’re all excited to see the progress & impact she’ll make this season.’
