Spennymoor Town can confirm that Tommy Miller has resigned from his position as First Team Manager.
Miller returned to The Brewery Field in February, initially joining Matty Dolan as part of the Club’s interim management team, before taking on the role on a permanent basis ahead of the 2026/27 National League North campaign.
Tommy has now made the decision to step down from his position, citing an increase in his business commitments outside of the Club, and his desire to ensure the First Team receives the energy and commitment that both the Moors and its supporters deserve.
The Club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Tommy for his efforts during his time in charge, and for his dedicated service to Spennymoor Town.
Tommy said:
“The supporters have always been a huge part of what makes the Football Club special and I am genuinely grateful for the support, encouragement and loyalty you have shown me, not just in this spell but also my previous time at the Club.”
“I would like to thank Brad and Jason for giving me the opportunity to return to the Football Club, and the staff and players for their efforts both last and this season. I wish you every success moving forward.”
A further announcement will be made in due course regarding the interim arrangements for management of the first-team.
