Moors have been handed a home tie against Chester in the Third Qualifying Round of the 2026/27 Emirates FA Cup.

The Seals got their name in the hat last round following an exciting 1-2 away win over NPL West division side, Lower Breck. The visitors took the lead through Ruben Butt in the first half, before the hosts equalised on 73 minutes. However, an 87th minute winner from Butt sealed the victory for Chester.

Moors booked their place in the 3rd Qualifying Round with an emphatic 0-4 away win at NPL Premier Division side Emley AFC. A brace from Jack Young, as well as goals from Danny Johnson and Glen Taylor proved the difference in West Yorkshire.

We’re no strangers to The Seals, who currently sit 9th in the National League North table, just 2 points outside of the play-off places.

All ties are set to take place around the weekend of Saturday 3rd October.
