In the aftermath of our appearance in the Isuzu FA Trophy Final on Sunday 11th May we wanted to shine a light on the businesses that supported the Club on the road to Wembley.
Next up to feature is Andrew Hughes Building Services, who have also backed Graeme Lee’s men as they prepare for their huge afternoon in the capital.
Based in Spennymoor, the company has recently taken the step of opening up its unit on Saturdays to allow veterans to go along and learn new skills.
As a veteran himself, Andrew is keen to support others when they leave the military and through his business is now teaching others all traders from plastering, rendering, bricklaying, plumbing and joinery.
“I know these courses can cost a lot of money which some people don’t have,” he explained.
“So, I have decided to make a contribution towards the materials we use on the day and I will teach those who come along everything they need to know about the building trade.
“It’s great to be able to support the local community and I am proud of the attachment I have built with the Football Club – hopefully we’re all smiling after the big day at Wembley!”
